Privacy & data protection

Last updated: June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how OMNIZON NETWORKS ("OMNIZON", "we", "us") handles personal data collected through our websites and services. We are committed to processing your data lawfully, fairly and transparently.

Who is responsible (data controller)

The controller of your personal data depends on your location:

  • European Union — OMNIZON NETWORKS GmbH, Werinherstraße 3, 81541 Munich, Germany.
  • United States and the rest of the world (outside the EU) — Omnizon Networks Inc, 50 Pine Street, Suite 8S, New York, NY 10005, USA.

Both companies operate under the OMNIZON NETWORKS brand and belong to the group headed by Omnizon Systems d.o.o. (Velika cesta 47, HR-10020 ODRA, Zagreb, Croatia), the parent company.

Processors and sub-processors

To deliver our services, the controllers rely on processors. In particular, Omnizon Systems d.o.o. — the group parent company — acts as a sub-processor, providing the underlying B2B/EDI platform and technical operations on behalf of OMNIZON NETWORKS GmbH and Omnizon Networks Inc. All processors are bound by data-processing agreements requiring appropriate security and confidentiality.

Data we collect

We collect information you provide directly — such as your name, work email, company and message when you contact us or request a demo — and technical information collected automatically, such as your IP address, device and usage data.

How we use your data and legal bases

  • To respond to your enquiries and provide requested demos — based on your consent or steps taken at your request prior to a contract.
  • To deliver, maintain and improve our services — based on our legitimate interests and, where applicable, performance of a contract.
  • To send relevant updates where you have consented — based on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
  • To comply with our legal and regulatory obligations — based on compliance with a legal obligation.

International transfers

Where personal data is transferred outside your country or the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses to ensure an adequate level of protection.

Data retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described, or as required by applicable law, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

Security

We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration or misuse.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, rectify, erase or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your competent data protection supervisory authority (in the EU, your local authority; in Germany, the relevant State Data Protection Authority).
